PORT 1024 UDP & TCP

Does anyone know what this port is used for? I looked it up on IANA's list and all it says is reserved.

It seems to be one of those well known ports that is not so well known, and is used by a variety of apps, including the MYDoom virus. Here's one list:

     RAT:NetSpy, Jade, Latinus, Randex,

W32.Mydoom, Lingosky
