Hello!I currently have it set so while the VPN is up, clients access the Internet through our Firewall. But they are unable to print locally. What do I need to do to get them to access local printers, but still visit the Internet through our Firewall?Thank you in advance.
Hi,I may not understand completely the "while the VPN is up, clients access the Internet through our Firewall. But they are unable to print locally".Q1: Thus the "clients" VPN to your firewall to access the Internet?Q2: Which "local" are you referring to? Local to "clients" location? However, you can try "split-tunneling". This will make the clients able to access both networks, "local" and "VPN".Regards,Dandy
Hi,Is this a Pix or ASA. Below is the link that should take care of the issue that you are running into. http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/471/lo ... -asa.htmlI hope it helps.Regards,Arul** Please rate all helpful posts **
I can see I was not specific enough with this. I blame it on the flu I've been fighting. I have clients attaching to the 3020 VPN concentrator with the 4.0.5 Windows client from their home networks.I do not want to enable split tunneling and have currently configured the concentrator to 'tunnel everything'. I've put the default route for tunnels as my campus switch so surfing the web goes out my firewall. However, because I do not have split-tunneling enabled, they cannot print locally or access any local resources. Is there a way to allow them access to local networked printers on their home network, without compromising things further and setting split tunneling?
