Configuring Wireless Cisco Networks and Wireless Controllers.

Has anyone had any problem with the 1242 obtaining an IP address from a Catalyst 4506 switch? We are trying to deploy this radio but the client can't get an IP address. The radio itself will get an address, just the client is affected. The client is associated. Funny thing though is if I hook it up to another network with a server running dhcp, all it okay. This 4506 is providing dhcp for many vlans with wired clients with no problems.Anyone with any ideas?
You must enable dhcp by proxy on the 4506 or disable dhcp by proxy on the controllers. The issue is likely that dhcp by proxy is not configured on the dhcp scope within the 4506. Some dhcp servers do not like dhcp by proxy and by default the controller presents the dhcp request for the client using the 184.108.40.206 virtual interface as a proxy.config dhcp proxy disableThis is the cli command to disable it.
